Layla’s primary focus has been on new project leasing and repositioning of existing assets. She is involved from the initial tenant mix planning to transaction management throughout the lease-up of the project. Notable assignments consist of several developments by Bosa Properties and Wesgroup Properties, including but not limited to, Miramar Village, Lougheed Heights, River District, and Brewery District. In addition, Layla is actively involved in underwriting and executing marketing strategies for investment and land sales, with a recent focus on retail strata sales.
Layla has represented a diverse mix of tenants on transactions spanning throughout the Lower Mainland. She is known for her tactful negotiation skills and an unwavering commitment to her clients, always putting their best interest first by investing time in understanding their priorities and business needs. Her dedication to her clients has resulted in her consistently securing optimal location on favourable terms.
Prior to joining Form (now Marcus & Millichap) in 2018, Layla was a part of Avison Young’s industrial team where she was directly responsible for transaction management, due diligence, and client relations. Layla has a Bachelor of Science from the University of British Columbia. She brings a strong work ethic, organizational and analytical skill set, and demonstrates the highest levels of personal integrity.
