Lane Schwartz

Lane joined Marcus & Millichap in 1989 as an agent assistant and joined the brokerage team in 1991. Since then he has been very successful in representing both buyers and sellers of multifamily and commercial investments. During his career with Marcus & Millichap, Lane has earned a number of awards and distinctions. On multiple occasions, Marcus & Millichap has recognized him for outstanding sales performance and honored him as a National Achievement Award Winner, which is recognition as one of the top brokers within Marcus & Millichap and the industry. He has been designated a Vice President of Investments which is bestowed upon the elite brokers within the firm and is a leader of the Special Asset Services Group. He is also a Director of the Marcus & Millichap National Multi Housing Group, which is a distinguished group of the firm’s top brokers.

Because of Lane’s success in brokerage and superior client and negotiation skills, in 2003 Lane was appointed the regional manager for the Downtown Los Angeles office of Marcus & Millichap. During his 4-year tenure as the Regional Manager he was responsible for developing corporate and institutional clients and overseeing deal negotiations and escrow closings for the office. Also during his term as Regional Manager he was able to double the revenue for the office from just under $9 million to just over $18 million.

During his long and distinguished career he has been involved in real estate transactions totaling over $3.1 billion dollars.

Lane’s detail oriented approach to selling real estate is what has helped him achieve his great success and has allowed him to represent many private individuals and multiple large institutions in the sales of their assets.

Lane is a native of Beverly Hills and graduated from Beverly Hills High School. He continued his education and graduated from California State University Northridge with a bachelor’s degree in Speech Communications that included an emphasis on Sales and Marketing.
