Justin Shuart

Justin Shuart specializes in securing multifamily and build-to-rent financing. With over ten years of experience in real estate, He has arranged debt and equity financing for a variety of commercial real estate owners and developers through banks, life insurance companies, pension funds, conduit lenders, debt funds, private equity funds and other private capital sources. Justin has extensive experience financing all property types, including multifamily (market rate and affordable housing), build-to-rent, student housing, senior housing, hotels, office, retail, and industrial.

Prior to joining IPA Capital Markets, Justin worked at Cushman & Wakefield, Walker & Dunlop and Johnson Capital, where he was responsible for providing financing solutions to developers and owners throughout the United States. Justin also spent time underwriting acquisition and development opportunities for a local Dallas developer/investor, as well as spending 5 years in Business Development at CitiBank.

Mr. Shuart holds a BA from the University of Texas, Austin and a MBA from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. He is a member of the National Multifamily Housing Council (NMHC).
