Joshua Cohan is a Director of Investments in the Encino office of Marcus & Millichap, specializing in industrial, industrial outdoor storage (IOS), land, and value-add investment sales throughout the San Fernando Valley, Greater Los Angeles, and select markets nationwide.
Joshua advises private investors, owner-users, developers, and institutional clients on acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, redevelopment opportunities, and complex investment strategies. His clients value his responsiveness, market intelligence, creativity, and relentless commitment to achieving exceptional results.
Since obtaining his California real estate license in 2019, Joshua has brokered more than $200 million in commercial real estate transactions and established himself as a trusted advisor known for maximizing value through strategic positioning, aggressive execution, and strong industry relationships. His deep understanding of the Southern California industrial market, combined with a hands-on approach and extensive network of buyers, sellers, tenants, and capital sources, enables him to consistently deliver successful outcomes for his clients.
Prior to joining Marcus & Millichap, Joshua spent five years with NAI Capital, where he was consistently recognized as one of the firm's top emerging producers.
Before beginning his commercial real estate career, Joshua played professional basketball overseas. The discipline, competitiveness, and work ethic developed through athletics continue to shape his approach to brokerage and client service today.
Joshua also works closely with his father and mentor, Marty Cohan, a veteran commercial real estate advisor with more than 35 years of experience and billions of dollars in completed transactions, providing clients with the benefit of both seasoned expertise and a modern, entrepreneurial approach to investment sales.
