John G. Carr

With more than a decade of real estate investment and sales experience, John Carr is an Senior Associate with Marcus & Millichap focusing on the brokerage of single-tenant net leased and Industrial assets across the United States. Prior to joining Marcus & Millichap in 2018, John was the CEO and General Manager of JGC Dev Group and J. Carr & Associates, a local real investment firm and general contracting company in the Bay Area. He managed a multi-million dollar portfolio specifically focused on high value residential real estate and new construction in Oakland and Berkeley for more than ten years.

John holds his B.S. from the University of California - Berkeley where he graduated with a degree in History and was a member of the Men's Rowing Team for three years, winning both National Championship and Pac-10 honors.
