John Faus

John Faus joined the Washington D.C. office of Marcus & Millichap in September 2020. As an investment sales associate, John is responsible for representing and advising clients through the acquisition and disposition of industrial and flex assets throughout Maryland. He is well connected to investors, owner operators, and developers in the industrial and flex sectors across the D.C. and Baltimore metropolitan markets.

Prior to joining Marcus & Millichap, John co-founded a social networking company called EchoMe Inc. where he oversaw marketing and growth. His innovative, entrepreneurial background helps him understand his clients’ diverse needs and create tailored strategies aligned with their goals. Above all, John values his advisory role, rooted in building and maintaining long-lasting relationships that transcend business. In 2021, John earned the firm’s Rookie of the Year award. In 2022, he was featured in the Mid-Atlantic Real Estate Journal’s 30 Under 30 list, showcasing his ambition and dedication to serving his surrounding community.

Originally from Northern Virginia, John’s connection to the area grew when he relocated to Baltimore, Maryland, in high school. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with family, traveling, and fly fishing. John is a graduate of the University of Miami where he earned a bachelor’s degree in communications with a minor in marketing. In addition to his undergraduate degree, he holds a real estate salesperson license in Maryland.
