James Stewart, CCIM

James Stewart specializes in the acquisition and disposition of single-tenant/multi-tenant office assets in the Austin and San Antonio MSAs, and land tracts throughout South and Central Texas. He is a seasoned, and skilled real estate professional with over 26 years of experience working directly for commercial property owners. Prior to joining Marcus & Millichap, James was highly successful in serving in various roles from leasing to property management early in his career, to directing real estate operations, and asset management for the majority of his career before moving into investment sales.

Over his career, James has: helped develop commercial/residential properties, managed over 2,500,000 square feet, leased more than 500,00 square feet, managed tenant finish-out and property renovations over 1,500,000 square feet, and has transacted acquisitions, dispositions and refinances over $425 million.

James is a graduate of the University of Texas at San Antonio with a BBA in Real Estate Finance and Development. He has the professional designations: CPM (Certified Property Manager), and CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member). James is very proud to have honorably served his country as a member of the United States Navy's Construction Battalion.
