James Stewart, CCIM

James Stewart is a commercial real estate agent based in Marcus & Millichap's San Antonio office, specializing in office investment sales and land transactions. He advises property owners, private investors and developers on the acquisition, disposition and strategic positioning of office properties throughout the San Antonio and Austin metropolitan areas, as well as land assets across Central and South Texas.

With 29 years of commercial real estate experience, Stewart brings a unique ownership-focused perspective shaped by his background in commercial real estate asset management. He helps clients align their financial objectives with hold and exit strategies, providing advisory guidance designed to preserve and create long-term value. Throughout his career, he has completed more than 60 transactions totaling approximately $470 million in sales volume.

Stewart joined Marcus & Millichap in 2020 and holds the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) and Certified Property Manager (CPM) designations. A San Antonio native, he earned a degree in Real Estate Development and Finance from The University of Texas at San Antonio. He also honorably served in the United States Navy's Construction Battalion, bringing a disciplined and strategic approach to serving commercial real estate investors and property owners.
