Jim Koury

Mr. Koury is a Senior Managing Director Investments with IPA's Boston office and has more than 35 years of experience in retail investment sales throughout the Northeastern United States. Throughout his career, he has advised institutional investors, private owners, REITs, and developers on the acquisition and disposition of retail assets. During that time, he has marketed and closed the sale of more than 300 shopping centers totaling over $7 billion in transaction volume and 38 million square feet.

A recognized specialist in shopping center investment sales, Mr. Koury has been an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) for more than 30 years. He served as Chair of the Northeast Capital Markets Committee for over 14 years and has frequently moderated industry panels and spoken at conferences on retail real estate investment trends and capital markets.

Mr. Koury joined IPA in 2019. Prior to joining IPA, he held senior leadership positions overseeing retail investment sales teams, including Senior Managing Director and Head of Northeast Retail Sales at HFF, Executive Vice President and Partner at CBRE, and National Director of Retail Sales at JLL, where he spent 15 years leading the firm's retail sales platform
