James Klosz

James (Jim) J. Klosz is an Associate Director in the Cleveland office of Marcus & Millichap Capital Corporation (MMCC). Mr. Klosz joined MMCC in December 2019 as an analyst and transitioned to an origination role in January 2023. Mr. Klosz works with a team that is responsible for securing commercial debt and equity financing for an array of property types including multifamily, office and industrial, retail, seniors housing and hospitality. He is well connected with national, regional and local funding sources including, but not limited to, agency lenders (e.g. Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac), commercial banks, CMBS lenders, life insurance companies, private and public funds and hard money lenders.

Prior to joining MMCC, Mr. Klosz served as a Director with River Cap Ventures for approximately two years, where he oversaw strategic projects and commercial real estate acquisitions and financing. He also worked as an Analyst for two years at Pinnacle Financial Group, one of the largest independently-owned mortgage banking companies in the Midwest.

Mr. Klosz is a graduate of Cleveland State University, where he earned a BBA degree in Finance. He also earned his MBA from Cleveland State University with a concentration in Global Business and Finance.
