James Hussey

James is a multi-tenant retail specialist with expertise in the San Antonio MSA. He maintains an in-depth understanding of market transactions and leverages this knowledge to provide valuable insights to his clients. James is dedicated to cultivating long-term relationships with active property owners and investors throughout the San Antonio market.

Before joining Marcus & Millichap, James gained extensive experience in construction management, serving as a project manager in Boston, MA, and Austin, TX. In this role, he oversaw a diverse portfolio of projects, including ground-up multi-purpose developments, life science fit-outs, and office interiors. This background equips him with a unique perspective, seamlessly integrating construction expertise into his approach to commercial real estate transactions.

A native of Boston, MA, James holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Bates College in Lewiston, ME, where he was an active member of the football team and a participant in club hockey. Outside of his professional endeavors, James enjoys supporting his favorite sports teams, staying active, and taking advantage of the warm Texas climate.
