James Egan

Jim is a member of the National Multi Housing Group working out of the White Plains office. He is an Investment Sales specialist who focuses on residential properties in the Lower Hudson Valley and the Capital District Region of New York. Jim works with property owners to help them understand their real estate needs and motivations and assists them in all aspects of ownership throughout a property’s life cycle.
Jim’s broad and deep transactional experience also helps sellers create the most effective marketing strategy to produce the highest price and favorable terms for a transaction.
Jim has over thirty years of investment and development experience across all property types and for the last twelve years has focused exclusively on residential transactions and management. He has worked at industry leading firms including Lehman Brothers, DRA Advisors (Director), ING Clarion Partners (SVP) and America First Apartment Investors Inc. (CIO).
Over the course of his career, he has been involved in over $4.5 billion dollars of transactions.
Jim attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology obtaining a BS Degree in Civil Engineering as well as an MS Degree in Real Estate Development from Columbia University.
Jim resides in Rye, NY with his wife and two children.
