Jacob Bauer

Jacob Bauer is a Senior Director Investments in Marcus & Millichap’s Chicago Downtown office, specializing in Auction Services across a wide range of asset classes. He assists clients in the strategic disposition of commercial real estate assets, offering tailored investment guidance and expert execution from start to finish.

With more than a decade of experience in commercial real estate, he brings a deep background in auction disposition and occupier services. Prior to joining Marcus & Millichap, he worked with CBIZ and Savills on Office and Industrial Occupier Services, then with Ten-X where he facilitated auction sales for national banks, REITs, servicers, and private owners. Known for his results-oriented approach, he creates proactive market solutions that consistently help clients exceed their objectives.

Originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, Jacob earned his degree from the University of Dayton. Outside of work, he enjoys traveling to Cincinnati Bengals games, exploring new restaurants and spending time with friends and family.
