Gino Franco

Gino Franco is a Managing Director, Investments in the San Francisco office of Marcus & Millichap. He specializes in the sale and acquisition of multifamily and mixed-use apartment buildings throughout San Francisco and coordinates complex 1031 exchange strategies for private investors, partnerships, and family offices. He quickly established himself as a market leader in investment sales, earning promotion to First Vice President within his first five years with the company.

A fourth-generation San Franciscan, Gino joined the firm in 2017. His strong work ethic, neighborhood-level market knowledge, and passion for the city’s history allow him to provide clients with strategic, block-by-block insight and hands-on guidance across every phase of the transaction process, including underwriting, positioning, marketing, negotiation, and execution. He closed over $15 million in commercial real estate transactions in his first year and has since completed more than $250 million in total sales volume.

In only his third year with the firm, Gino earned the National Sales Achievement Award, along with the Rising Star Award and multiple Sales Recognition Awards for consistent performance and client results.

Prior to brokerage, Gino worked with Prometheus Real Estate Group on both the residential and commercial management sides of the business, gaining an ownership-minded perspective that benefits his clients.

He graduated from Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory and earned a Marketing degree with a Real Estate focus from Menlo College, where he helped launch the school’s Real Estate bachelor’s program. He also played four years of college baseball and competed professionally in Sydney before returning home to begin his real estate career.

Gino lives in San Francisco and is a proud owner and investor in the city.
