Gabriel Shamay

Gabriel Shamay is a Senior Associate in Marcus & Millichap’s Fort Lauderdale office and he is an Associate Director in the firm's National Hospitality Division.

Gabriel joined the company in 2014 as a Financial Analyst where he analyzed, underwrote and modeled over $1.7 billion worth of hotel properties throughout the United States. In 2016, Gabriel transitioned to an investment sales position and quickly became one of the top calling hospitality agents nationwide and was a recipient of the firm's Pace Setter award that same year.

Gabriel's unique relationship between him, his partners and the Marcus & Millichap platform provides clients with certainty that they will leave "no stone unturned" in the marketplace. Additionally, his breadth of experience in all aspects of hospitality sales including financial analysis, hotel accounting, marketing, and research makes him an invaluable resource to his clients.

Prior to joining the Greenberg Hotel Group, Gabriel worked as a Researcher at CBRE where he collaborated with commercial brokers of all property types, writing research reports distributed to thousands of real estate investors.

Gabriel graduated cum laude from Florida Atlantic University, with a degree in Finance.
