David Cafiero

David Cafiero is a commercial real estate agent with Marcus & Millichap specializing in retail properties, shopping centers, and net lease investments. Based in New Jersey, Cafiero represents investors and institutional clients in the acquisition and disposition of retail and net lease properties throughout Northern and Central New Jersey, as well as single-tenant net lease assets across the United States.

With over $700 million in closed investment real estate transactions across nearly 200 deals, Cafiero brings a data-driven, client-focused approach to retail and net lease brokerage. His deep market knowledge and strategic execution have helped clients navigate complex 1031 exchange scenarios, optimize portfolio performance, and unlock long-term value in core and suburban retail markets.

Cafiero holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting with a Minor in Psychology from Seton Hall University. He is a licensed real estate salesperson in New Jersey and an active member of Marcus & Millichap’s Retail Division and Net Lease Division, as well as the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).
