Daniel Shin is a Senior Vice President of Marcus & Millichap. He joined Marcus & Millichap in 2006 and specializes in multifamily and student housing sales with a focus on the Utah and Idaho markets. Daniel has proven to be a market leader in Utah and Idaho. He and his team have successfully transacted over nearly 10,000 units and over One Billion dollars in multifamily and student housing properties. Daniel is also responsible for selling the largest apartment complex by dollar volume in the history of Utah.
Daniel is consistently ranked as a top producer with Marcus & Millichap. His efforts have earned him the "Top Producing Broker" award for the past 9 years from 2009-2017. He has also achieved the company’s National Achievement Award for his success in 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016 & 2017. Daniel is also a Director of Marcus & Millichap’s National Multi Housing Group.
Along with his brokerage experience, Daniel has consulted clients with operation improvements, broker opinion of values, refinancing and loan modifications. He has consulted with private capital investors, realty advisors, REITs, developers, condominium converters, 1031 exchange buyer and TIC buyers.
Prior to joining Marcus & Millichap, Daniel attended the Mathematics Program and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Statistics and Business at Brigham Young University.
