Colby Haugness

Colby has worked 20 + years as an investment sales professional focused on NNN and Retail assets. Colby started his career in 1999 with Marcus & Millichap’s Seattle office, during his time serving as senior associate and associate director of the National Retail Group. In 2003 Colby moved to Southern California to pursue other interests in real estate. Colby served as vice president of Net Leased Real Properties in Vista, CA and was senior vice president of Capital Real Estate Investments based in La Jolla, CA. In addition, Colby was partner and co-founder of R&R capital, a private equity company providing sale-leaseback financing to restaurant and retail operators nationwide. In 2010 Colby started his own brokerage company, Colby & Co. Investment Brokerage. In 2015 Colby was hired to Marcus & Millichap Management. Colby served as sales manager 2015-2017 of the San Diego office and was promoted to Regional manager of the Cincinnati, Louisville, St Louis and Kansas City offices during 2017-2020. In May of 2020 Mr. Haugness transitioned back to investment sales as a Director within the NRG and NLPG Groups.

Today Colby is located in Tampa FL

Colby graduated from Washington State University 1999 with studies in Finance and Real Estate and is licensed in WA, CA, OH, MO, KS, KY and FL
