Cody Hershey

Cody Hershey is a commercial real estate agent with Marcus & Millichap, specializing in office and industrial properties throughout Florida. Based in the Fort Lauderdale office, Cody combines a strong foundation in financial analysis with a clear, direct communication style that delivers value to investors, developers, and owner-users across the state.

Before joining Marcus & Millichap, Cody gained hands-on investment and development experience as an analyst at a vertically integrated real estate family office, where he managed asset performance and identified value-add opportunities across a diversified portfolio. He also served as a development analyst during his graduate studies, underwriting complex office, multifamily, and data science center projects for one of Gainesville’s leading developers.

Cody holds a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Master of Science in Real Estate (MSRE) from the University of Florida’s Warrington College of Business. Originally from New York City and Rumson, New Jersey, he is actively involved in the Caridad Center, a nonprofit organization in Boynton Beach, and enjoys spending time on the water and practicing Tae Kwon Do, in which he holds a black belt.
