Christopher Hurd

Christopher Hurd is a Vice President with Marcus & Millichap in the firm’s Sacramento, California office. Mr. Hurd specializes in the disposition of single and multi-tenant retail properties nationwide. Chris serves his clients as a strategic partner, providing leadership and detailed service with the highest level of care for each transaction.

Chris came to Marcus & Millichap as an Industry veteran. He began his career in 2008 with a large national full-service brokerage firm where he specialized in the representation of National/Regional Tenants, Landlords and Developers.

Throughout his career, Chris has sold and/or leased over 2,000,000 square feet of retail property. His expertise in the arena of both sales and leasing gives his clients the ability to understand the complete transaction and makes him an invaluable resource in the stabilization and evaluation of retail assets.

His consistency and high performance have earned him company wide top producer awards along with nomination for Sacramento’s Association of Commercial Real Estate (ACRE) Retail Broker of the Year Award.

Chris attended California State University, Sacramento and previously attended Washington State University where he earned a scholarship to play Quarterback for the Cougars. During his time at Washington State, he played in three NCAA Bowl games and was a member of the 2002 Cougar team that won the Pac 12 Championship.

Chris spends his free time with his wife and three young children, Brody (7), Bailie (5) and Blake (2). He can be found on the sidelines coaching his kid’s various sports on the weekends and enjoying time with family and friends.
