Chip Cornelius

Chip Cornelius has relocated from Nashville as the former COO of Benchmark Realty, LLC and has joined Marcus and Millichap Commercial Real Estate in Birmingham Alabama as a Senior Associate with the firm. Formerly, he spent 39 years in the Chicago market where he was last Senior Vice President of Coldwell Banker in the downtown market. Previously he was Founder and CEO of Chicagoland Realty, a boutique full service real estate firm. For 12 years he was a successful Chicago real estate developer and built and developed a number of A+ properties in and around the city. He also was president of American Associates Construction, Inc and National Home Building Company closely held construction companies for the development of partnership holdings. Having performed numerous transactions since he began his career, he now specializes in Retail and Multifamily Properties in the State of Alabama.
