Carlo Hesano

Carlo Hesano is an Associate Investments with Marcus & Millichap, specializing in net-lease retail properties. He is a valued member of the VHG CRE Group, a high-performing team that has closed more than 240 transactions totaling over $1.0 billion in volume. The team’s in-depth understanding of Michigan market trends, supported by insight into national market dynamics, combined with its ability to leverage the Marcus & Millichap platform, helps clients identify and capitalize on strategic investment opportunities.

Before transitioning into commercial real estate, Carlo spent several years as a full-time project manager overseeing complete home renovations. He managed projects from acquisition through completion, coordinating contractors, budgets, timelines, and design execution. This hands-on experience in construction, budgeting, and asset improvement provides him with a practical perspective in commercial real estate, enabling him to better evaluate property potential and identify opportunities to enhance long-term value.

Carlo is highly relationship-driven and committed to putting his clients’ interests first. His strong work ethic, attention to detail, and clear communication distinguish him in the marketplace. He approaches every transaction with a long-term mindset, focused on building lasting partnerships based on trust, transparency, and results.

He is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and a graduate of Wayne State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Management.

Outside of work, Carlo enjoys spending time with family and being outdoors. In the summer, he can often be found boating and enjoying time on the water. He especially values time with his 10 nieces and nephews and takes pride in being present and involved in their lives.
