Benjamin Shopland

Benjamin Shopland joined Marcus & Millichap as an associate specializing in industrial leasing and investment sales. Ben offers honest advice, authentic leadership capabilities and a tireless work ethic. Prior to joining Marcus & Millichap Ben spent some time with another national brokerage focusing on investment sales. In a short period of time, Ben has been able to distinguish himself through his market knowledge and dedication to each assignment focusing on the best outcome for his clients. Ben routinely engages landlords, tenants and developers to ensure his clients have the most accurate market information at each phase of their transaction.

Ben graduated with distinction from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Commerce degree and a certificate in Real Estate. Prior to attending university Ben completed his Journeyman, Red Seal welding designations, working for various national Oil and Gas organizations. This opportunity has presented him an interesting view on the industrial sector and the driving forces of the Alberta economy. Whether helping clients relocate, improve upon current spaces or purchasing and selling of assets, he is motivated to build upon existing relationships as well as building new long-term relationships throughout his career.
