Arteen Zahiri

Arteen Zahiri is an Associate Director Investments specializing in multifamily real estate and affordable housing across Los Angeles County, with a primary focus on assets of 50+ units. He advises owners, lenders, and investment groups on acquisitions, dispositions, and complex capital events involving stabilized, value-add, and transitional multifamily assets.

Arteen brings strong analytical rigor and execution discipline to each assignment, with expertise spanning underwriting, capital structuring, market positioning, regulatory diligence, and buyer qualification. He actively navigates Los Angeles’s evolving regulatory environment, including rent control, affordable housing compliance, and operational risk factors that materially impact valuation and execution certainty.

In addition to traditional asset sales, Arteen works closely with lenders and loan servicers on non-performing commercial real estate loans and REO assets across Los Angeles, advising on note sale strategies, resolution alternatives, and execution pathways in distressed situations. This dual exposure across the debt and equity sides of the capital stack enables him to structure solutions for complex or time-sensitive transactions.

Prior to joining The Azzi Group, Arteen worked as an Investment Banking Analyst at JMP Securities, advising technology companies on mergers and acquisitions, IPOs, and private capital raises. He also held Account Executive roles at high-growth software companies, developing a strong foundation in client advisory and negotiation.

Education: Arteen graduated from Babson College, the #1 ranked school in the nation for entrepreneurship. Graduating with Summa Cum Laude honors, Arteen earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with concentrations in Finance and Information Technology.
