Amir Mahin

Amir Mahin is an investment associate with Marcus & Millichap in the firm’s San Diego Downtown office, specializing in the acquisition, disposition and valuation of multifamily properties throughout San Diego County. He works alongside the Ben Sierpina multifamily team, focusing on advising private clients and investors across several of San Diego’s urban and coastal submarkets.

Originally from Los Angeles, Amir served in the United States Navy prior to transitioning into commercial real estate. During his military service, he developed experience operating in high-pressure environments that required discipline, accountability and strong communication skills. Following his military service, he pursued a career in multifamily investment sales with a focus on relationship-driven advisory services and market analysis.

Amir currently attends the University of San Diego, where he studies Political Science while pursuing his career in commercial real estate. His academic background and professional experience have allowed him to develop a strong understanding of multifamily acquisitions, investment analysis and disposition strategy.

His day-to-day responsibilities include market research, underwriting support, property valuations, client outreach and assisting owners in disposition strategies throughout the San Diego multifamily market.

He is committed to helping property owners maximize value through strategic disposition planning while assisting investors in identifying and acquiring multifamily assets that align with their long-term investment goals.
