Alexander Girling

Alex Girling is a driven Associate who focuses his efforts on the acquisition, disposition, and leasing of industrial properties across Metro Vancouver. Alex joined Marcus & Millichap in 2024 with First Vice President Braydon Hobbs after two valuable years at a boutique brokerage in the Fraser Valley.

As an integral part of Marcus & Millichap’s industrial division, Alex pairs his industry connections with a strong skillset of submarket specific market knowledge, financial analysis, and negotiation to deliver outstanding results for his clients. Alex prides himself on providing exceptional service with a long-lensed approach and is passionate about the relentless pursuit of achieving his client’s goals.

Born and raised in the Lower Mainland, Alex graduated from Simon Fraser University with a Bachelor of Science and supplemented his degree with a Diploma of Urban Land Economics from the University of British Columbia. Prior to real estate, Alex embarked on a 14-month backpacking trip and subsequently worked at several real estate companies including UBC Properties Trust and BC Housing. Outside of brokerage, Alex is an accomplished public speaker advocating for various mental health focused initiatives and organizations.
