Alex Staten

Alex Staten is a commercial real estate agent with Marcus & Millichap based in Houston, Texas, specializing in land investment sales. He advises property owners, developers and investors on land acquisitions and dispositions throughout the Houston market. Drawing from his background in development, Staten provides clients with insight into buyer expectations, site potential and transaction strategy to help position properties competitively and maximize value.

With experience on both sides of the transaction process, he brings a practical understanding of land development, investor priorities and market dynamics. Staten earned a degree in banking and finance from Sam Houston State University. Outside of commercial real estate, he is actively involved in the Rosenberg, Texas, community through mentorship with the Prison Fellowship program and participation in his church. In his free time, he enjoys working on cars, fishing, shooting and spending time with friends, family and his husky.
