Alex Sacks is a Senior Associate at Marcus & Millichap’s Chicago Downtown Office where he specializes in representing physician groups, private investors, and investment firms in the acquisition & disposition of medical office buildings throughout the United States with a particular focus on the Southeast Region & Texas. Alex’s success on behalf of his clients is documented by the fact that he has personally sold and closed on over $100MM worth of healthcare leased facilities in over 10 different states and has underwritten in excess of a half of billion dollars of medically purposed real estate. Alex has played a critical role in advising clients on how to properly restructure their respective leases prior to listing the property which has resulted in creating millions of dollars in additional equity proceeds for his clientele.

Alex has deep sector-specific knowledge within the healthcare property asset class which includes a variety of medical specialties leased to both for-profit & non-profit health systems, private physicians, and larger scaled multi-specialty physician groups such as; orthopedics, oncology, radiology, urology, ophthalmology, OB-GYN, primary care, dialysis, and urgent care. His investment sales skill set, transparency throughout the market cycle, and overall professionalism is the foundation for creating long-term trust that has resulted in enduring long-lasting relationships with his clients.

Alex’s primary objective is to steward his clients from start to finish with the primary objective of securing the maximum value for their property while always putting the client’s best interest first as their fiduciary.
