AJ DeCristoforo

AJ DeCristoforo is an Associate Director of Investments at Marcus & Millichap's Palo Alto office and a multifamily specialist with the Bay Consulting Group (BCG), one of the leading multifamily investment teams in the Bay Area. Working alongside his partner Jimmy Castellanos, AJ helps multifamily investors across the region buy, sell, and reposition their assets. The team has built an extensive track record representing multifamily investors throughout the Bay Area, with a combined $1.5 billion in transaction volume since 2017. BCG prides itself on a proactive approach that positions clients to take advantage of the dynamic multifamily marketplace, and AJ leverages technology and AI to sharpen underwriting, target the right opportunities, and deliver results for his clients.

AJ's day-to-day work centers on the fundamentals that drive results: outbound buyer and seller outreach, constant database management, and active market prospecting. He also stays closely attuned to local jurisdictions and the regulatory changes that affect real estate investors (from rent control to zoning and ADU policy) so his clients can make informed decisions ahead of the market. Since 2025, AJ has been responsible for 20 successful transactions across San Mateo and Santa Clara Counties, further solidifying his reputation as a top-performing multifamily agent.

AJ received his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Santa Clara University, where he served on the Executive Board of the campus Real Estate Association for three years. While at Santa Clara, AJ represented SCU and took home the crown in the 1st Annual NAIOP Silicon Valley University Challenge, competing against teams from Stanford University, Menlo College, and San Jose State University. His approach is rooted in discipline, continuous self-improvement, and a commitment to mastering his craft.
