Tony Solomon

Tony Solomon is Senior Managing Director and Market Leader for Marcus & Millichap’s Los Angeles Region and serves as the firm’s Broker of Record for California. With experience spanning investment sales, commercial mortgage brokerage, capital markets and brokerage leadership, Solomon has been involved in more than $20 billion in commercial real estate sales and financing transactions.

His experience spans multifamily, net-lease, retail, office, industrial, hospitality, and land and development opportunities. His capital markets experience includes banks, credit unions, life insurance companies, private lenders, debt funds, CMBS lenders, and Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac financing programs.

Solomon began his career as an investment sales agent and licensed broker in Los Angeles, earning numerous top-production awards during approximately 13 years as a producing broker. He later transitioned into management, focusing on developing professionals and growing brokerage businesses.

In 2019, Solomon was promoted to National Director of Marcus & Millichap Capital Corporation (MMCC), overseeing the firm’s national debt origination platform. In 2025, he was promoted to Senior Managing Director with responsibility for brokerage activities throughout the Los Angeles Region.

Solomon has helped hundreds of professionals launch careers in commercial real estate through recruiting, training, coaching and mentorship. He also works with established top-producing agents to strengthen teams, expand client relationships and scale their brokerage practices, contributing to tens of millions of dollars in additional brokerage fees.

Solomon created Marcus & Millichap’s Military Bridge to Brokerage program, a national initiative designed to introduce military veterans to career opportunities in commercial real estate brokerage.
