Kenneth N. Blomsterberg

Overview

Kenneth
N. Blomsterberg joined Marcus and Millichap in 1989 and has become one of the
top Brokers in the Western United States, specializing in the multi-family
market in Northern Nevada. Ken was promoted to Senior Investment Manager in
1998, Vice President Investments in 2008 and First Vice President Investments
in 2009 and Senior Vice President Investments in 2015. Ken also serves as Senior
Director of
Marcus and Millichap’s National Multi-Housing Group.


During
the course of Ken’s career, he has closed more than $2
billion in Commercial
Real Estate Investments and has been acknowledged almost every year as one of
Marcus and Millichap’s top agents: 1993, 1995, 2000 - 2009, 2012, 2014-2017.
Ken was also nominated for Humanitarian of the Year in 1996 and 1997 by the
Association of Commercial Real Estate Brokers of Sacramento.



Ken
was awarded the 2012 Reno Summit Awards for Investment Broker of the Year and
Broker of the Year Overall and the 2013 Reno Summit Award for Multi-Family
Broker of the Year. Ken was nominated for ACRE

Ken
has been a guest speaker at various real estate forums and sits on the Board of
Directors for the Child Abuse Prevention Council of Sacramento and Prevent

The Northern Nevada Market Leaders

The Blomsterberg Group of Marcus & Millichap is comprised of Ken Blomsterberg,
Ryan Rife, Daniel Winrod and Jennifer Pearson. The Team incorporates over 35
years of brokerage knowledge, analysis and underwriting experience with a focus
on multifamily in the northern Nevada and northern California markets. The Team
is headquartered in the Reno-Sparks market and holds a 46 percent overall
market share in the northern Nevada region’s multifamily sector, including
seven of the eleven deals that traded during 2017 in the 100+ unit range. Ken
Blomsterberg has been an agent with Marcus & Millichap since 1989, is
licensed in both Nevada and California and is the firm's Nevada Corporate
Broker for Reno. Ken and his team specialize in large apartment communities for
both the Sacramento and Reno offices. Ryan integrates the team’s knowledge and
experience in the mid-sized apartment communities. Daniel translates this
expertise into smaller complexes. Jennifer Pearson is the Executive Assistant
and has served the Blomsterberg Group for over 11 years. Throughout his career,
Ken has closed over $2 billion in real estate investment sales with
$375 million in both the northern Nevada and Sacramento regions in the past three years alone. The Blomsterberg Group is the only
