Rob joined Marcus and Millichap in 2018 after a 30-year career in city management. As City Manager, Rob led the economic development efforts for the City of Murfreesboro, one of the fastest growing cities in the United States.
Rob played an integral part of the acquisition, development, marketing and land sales in Murfreesboro's 400-acre Gateway. Rob handled negotiations for the land sales of City-owned properties including St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital, Murfreesboro Medical Clinic, Fountains at Gateway, the Embassy Suites by Hilton Murfreesboro and numerous office properties. Rob was also part of the team that developed the advanced manufacturing corridor on Joe B Jackson Parkway, which includes Amazon, Schwann Cosmetics and other warehouse and industrial developments.
Rob leads Marcus and Millichap's Office and Industrial team in Nashville. Among his sales are an $11 million industrial property in Piperton and Gibson Guitar's former HQ in Nashville. He ranked in the top 20 in sales for Marcus and Millichap’s 6-state Mid-South Region in 2021.
He also specializes in land deals following his city government experience. Planning, re-development, building and codes, development and the zoning entitlement process comprise Rob's expertise.
