Paul Barretto

Alec “Paul” Barretto was born and raised in Marin County. He is currently an investment associate working at Marcus & Millichap specializing in multi-family investment properties in the West Los Angeles area. He received his bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley and earned a Master of Science in Law from the Gould School of Law at the University of Southern California. While obtaining his degrees, he also held the position of captain of the Division 1 men’s tennis programs at both universities and achieved a top 10 national ranking.

Paul’s interest in real estate stems from his love of architecture, his ability to thrive in a competitive environment, and his passion for the world of investing. While attending USC, Paul developed a particular fascination with the unique real estate market that is Los Angeles. He consistently strives to be at the forefront of the LA market, staying informed on policy changes, market shifts, and other investment strategies so he can be the best possible resource for his clients.

On his off time, he enjoys reading, writing, and participating in long distance running competitions.
