Joe Koicim

Joe Koicim is a top-producing broker in Manhattan’s Marcus & Millichap office. He is a partner and co-founder of the New York Multifamily Group. Joe focuses on bringing new capital into both established and emerging New York markets. Joe and his team have set countless sales records for multifamily and mixed-use assets in Manhattan and across the boroughs. Private investors, institutional funds, foreign entities, and nonprofit organizations consistently seek Joe’s high-level expertise to provide them access to lucrative buying or selling opportunities.

Most recently, Joe was responsible for the sale of a 71-unit East Village portfolio, an 86-unit elevator apartment building in Clinton Hill and a 78,000 square foot mixed-use assemblage in Williamsburg. Some of Joe's additional notable transactions include the sale of a 16-building spread throughout prime submarkets in Manhattan and Brooklyn which he sold for $132 million, a portfolio of nine buildings in Midtown West and the Upper West Side, a 96-unit apartment package on West 25th Street, and a newly built high-end elevator building on West 27th Street, adjacent to the Highline.

Joe joined Marcus & Millichap in 2004 and was responsible for the sale of over ten transactions within his first fifteen months with the firm. Joe has facilitated the sale of over three billion dollars in New York City real estate and has qualified for Marcus & Millichap's National Achievement Award every year since 2011. He was recognized as a top 30 under 30 brokers by the Commercial Observer in 2008 and was recently named a top investment sales broker by Real Estate Forum magazine. Joe has been quoted in many trade journals and was featured on The Stoler Report: Real Estate Trends for his insight on Manhattan's real estate investment sales market. A true entrepreneur and innovator, Joe earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Maryland's Robert H. Smith School
