Catherine O'Brien is a seasoned real estate professional with more than 25 years of experience in commercial brokerage, specializing in hospitality, multifamily, and mixed-use investment sales. As a Senior Associate at Marcus & Millichap, she brings a consultative, strategic approach to every transaction—delivering comprehensive property analyses, customized marketing programs, and responsive client service.

Prior to joining Marcus & Millichap, Catherine served as Vice President of Corporate Sales at Avison Young and Director of Acquisitions at GH Capital, a national real estate and private equity firm with assets exceeding $1.55 billion. At GH Capital, she successfully sourced and closed over 12,000 multifamily units nationwide.

Catherine has negotiated and closed over $480 million in commercial real estate transactions across the United States. Her clients benefit from her deep industry relationships with franchise development officers, hotel brands—including Marriott, Hilton, Wyndham, and Hyatt—and a wide network of qualified investors and real estate professionals.

She is an active member of several industry associations, including the National Hospitality Group (NHG), the Asian American Hotel Owners Association (AAHOA), and the Retail Brokers Network (RBN).
