Who We Are

Christopher Mitchel is a Senior Director at Marcus & Millichap and a founding principal of The Mitchel Skoch Group, a specialized healthcare real estate team within Marcus & Millichap’s Healthcare Real Estate Division. Alongside his partner, William Skoch, Chris co-leads a team of dedicated agents focused on advising owners in the acquisition and disposition of medical office buildings, ambulatory surgery centers, dialysis clinics, veterinary hospitals, endoscopy centers, dental clinics, and other healthcare real estate assets nationwide.

Since joining Marcus & Millichap in 2012, Chris has completed more than 170 transactions across 25 states, advising a broad range of clients including healthcare developers, physician partnerships, healthcare systems, private investors, and healthcare-focused real estate owners. Over the course of his career, he has developed extensive experience in complex sale-leaseback transactions, single-tenant net-leased medical investments, and multi-tenant medical office assets. His work requires a detailed understanding of medical tenancy, reimbursement-driven business models, and operator-specific real estate strategies, allowing him to structure transactions that align both real estate and operational objectives.

Chris is known for his disciplined underwriting, strategic positioning of assets, and hands-on execution from valuation through closing. His ability to navigate the operational nuances of outpatient healthcare facilities allows him to deliver tailored solutions that align both real estate objectives and long-term practice growth strategies. Through consistent results and a relationship-driven approach, he has built a strong network of repeat clients and active healthcare buyers throughout the country.
