Who We Are

Chez Eider is a senior director of investments with Marcus & Millichap and a leading commercial real estate broker specializing in New Jersey multifamily and office properties. Based in the firm’s New Jersey office, Eider advises clients on the acquisition and disposition of investment real estate, including land development opportunities across the state.

With over 26 years of experience in brokerage, construction, development, and investment, Eider brings a deep, hands-on perspective to each client engagement. Prior to joining Marcus & Millichap, he served as a senior project and construction manager at Somerset Development and later founded a national commercial construction and development firm. His career spans more than 350 buildings and homes and over 100 commercial and residential development projects throughout the East Coast and Midwest, including New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Illinois, and Ohio.

Eider is a member of Marcus & Millichap’s Multi Housing Division, Office and Industrial Division, NAIOP, and the New Jersey Apartment Association. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Talmudic Law from the Lev Aryeh Institute in Jerusalem. A lifelong Central Jersey resident, Eider is active in community and philanthropic initiatives and enjoys spending time with his wife and sons. He is a recipient of the firm’s prestigious Mr. Marcus & Millichap Award.
