Who We Are

Darpan Patel is a commercial real estate agent with Marcus & Millichap in Tampa, Florida, specializing in retail, office and industrial investment sales across the Sunbelt and Midwest. He advises property owners and represents buyers and sellers in the acquisition and disposition of investment properties. With over 15 years of experience in banking and commercial real estate, Darpan is nationally recognized for providing strategic guidance in valuation, due diligence, negotiation, and 1031 exchange solutions. At the age of 23, he joined Marcus & Millichap in 2012 as an associate and has since risen through the organization to senior managing director.

Darpan is a co-founder of the Patel-Yozwiak Group, a national team formed in 2020 that advises private clients, funds and developers across multiple commercial property types. The group specializes in retail, restaurant, office, industrial, medical and development assets nationwide. This extensive experience allows the team to tailor strategies to each client’s unique objectives. Darpan has completed more than 500 transactions totaling over $1 billion in sales volume, contributing to the team’s track record of more than 625 transactions valued in excess of $1.3 billion across 40 states.

A graduate of the University of Cincinnati with a degree in finance, Darpan is a member of ICSC and remains active in mentoring agents across the United States. He has earned national recognition, including three National Achievement Awards, seven Sales Recognition Awards, a CoStar Impact Award, Power Broker honors and three Crexi Platinum Awards. Darpan also supports charitable organizations such as Feeding America, Cincinnati Center for Autism, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, The Point Arc, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and Feeding Tampa Bay, reflecting his commitment to both clients and the communities he serves.
