Who We Are

Christopher Skurka is a commercial real estate agent with Marcus & Millichap in Tampa, Florida, specializing in retail net lease properties. He advises property owners and represents buyers and sellers in retail investment sales, with a focus on shopping centers and multi-tenant strip centers across Southwest Florida. As a member of the Hurd Net Lease Group, he provides investment analysis, underwriting and tenant and lease evaluation, helping clients structure transactions and execute 1031 exchange strategies.

Skurka previously developed experience in commercial real estate by overseeing apartment, flex and industrial properties while supporting the management of large portfolios. This background provides him with a well-rounded perspective on operations, asset performance and investor priorities. He earned a bachelor’s degree in business management and a master’s degree in entrepreneurship from the University of Tampa.

Beyond his professional work, Skurka has been involved in community and charitable initiatives, including co-founding Cleats for Costa Rica, an organization that provides resources to underserved communities. His involvement reflects a commitment to leadership and service that supports his role advising clients in commercial real estate.
