Carlos Valencia operates out of Marcus & Millichap’s Palo Alto office, specializing in multifamily investment sales alongside his partners Jimmy Castellanos and AJ DeCristoforo. Together, the team has built a strong presence in the Bay Area’s highly competitive real estate market, successfully closing nearly $500 million in transaction volume. Known for their strategic approach, client-first mindset, and deep understanding of local submarkets, the team consistently delivers results for private investors, syndicators, and institutional clients alike.

Carlos and his team are highly active in the market, constantly sourcing opportunities both on- and off- market and positioning their clients to act decisively. Their sharp negotiating skills, financial judgement, and market insight allow them to structure complex deals and create long-term value for investors. The team is known for their responsiveness, hustle, and ability to execute in all stages of a transaction—from underwriting and marketing to due diligence and closing.

Carlos earned his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Santa Clara University, where he was a dedicated member of the Real Estate Association and the Economics Student Association for three years. Through hands-on experience, Carlos has developed a solid foundation in financial modeling, client relations, and market analysis—skills that now translate into thoughtful advisory and smart execution for his clients.
