Who We Are

Lane began his career at Marcus & Millichap in 1989 as an agent assistant and joined the brokerage team in 1991. Since then, he has built a highly successful track record representing both buyers and sellers of multifamily and commercial investment properties.

Throughout his tenure at Marcus & Millichap, Lane has consistently distinguished himself as a top-performing broker. He has received numerous accolades for outstanding sales performance, including multiple National Achievement Awards—an honor recognizing the firm’s and the industry’s top brokers. Additionally, he holds the title of Senior Managing Director of Investments, a designation reserved for the most accomplished professionals in the firm.

In recognition of his leadership and expertise, Lane was appointed Regional Manager of Marcus & Millichap’s Downtown Los Angeles office in 2003. In this role, he oversaw the development of corporate and institutional client relationships, managed deal negotiations, and supervised escrow closings. Under his leadership, the office’s annual revenue grew from under $9 million to over $18 million.

In 2008, Lane made the strategic decision to return full-time to the sales force and continue his distinguished brokerage career. Since then, he has further solidified his reputation as a trusted advisor and industry leader, continuing to deliver exceptional results for his clients.

Over the course of his respected and accomplished career, Lane has been involved in real estate transactions totaling close to $5 billion dollars. His detail-oriented, client-focused approach has earned him the trust of both private investors and major institutional clients.

A native of Beverly Hills, Lane is a graduate of Beverly Hills High School. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Speech Communications, with an emphasis in Sales and Marketing, from California State University, Northridge.
