Matthew Peters is a commercial real estate broker with Marcus & Millichap, specializing in mixed-use, multifamily and development property sales throughout Central and Eastern Brooklyn, New York. As team leader of The Peters Team, Peters brings over a decade of investment sales experience and has evaluated more than 1,000 books of value and $5 billion in commercial real estate across New York City and beyond. His closed transactions total over $145 million and include multiple record-breaking sales.

On a daily basis, Peters advises property owners on portfolio strategy, underwrites complex assets, and executes exclusive sales transactions. His expertise in Brooklyn commercial real estate allows him to provide clients with detailed market insights and customized strategies, including guidance on 1031 exchange opportunities in New York. Peters' analytical approach and transactional track record make him a trusted advisor for investors across Brooklyn’s diverse neighborhoods.

Supported by Marcus & Millichap’s national platform, Peters has built one of the industry’s largest networks of commercial real estate buyers and sellers. He works with investors both locally and across the United States.
