Who We Are

Jeffrey L. Herrmann is a First Vice President Investments and Director, Self-Storage Division in the firm's Chicago Oak Brook office. Prior to joining Marcus & Millichap in 2017, Jeffrey was President and Co-Owner of Apple Self Storage in Wauconda, Illinois. Mr. Herrmann also served as Executive Vice President and COO of Telular Corporation, a public telecommunication technology company and has extensive financial management experience from his time with Bell and Howard and RR Donnelley & Sons Company. Jeffrey began his career with Arthur Anderson & Company as a Public Accountant. He earned a B.S. Degree in Accounting from Northern Illinois University and holds a CPA certificate and an Illinois Real Estate License.

Jeffrey has 25 plus years in the self-storage industry, including also having personal experience as a self-storage owner and developer in Illinois and Florida. Jeffrey has an impressive brokerage track record, closing over $200 million in real estate transactions and winning the prestigious office 'Hunting Season' award twice in just three years.
