Marty Louie serves as Marcus & Millichap’s senior vice president leading the company’s corporate and growth initiatives. He joined the firm as controller in 2003. Mr. Louie was promoted to the position of vice president of finance in 2007, and in 2008, he was elevated to first vice president of finance. He was promoted to managing director in 2011 and served as the company’s chief financial officer for 10 years. Mr. Louie has served as a senior financial executive with worldwide responsibilities for various Fortune 500 companies, including Sony Pictures Entertainment, The Walt Disney Co., Infineon Technologies and West Marine. In those roles, he has been responsible for accounting, strategic planning, financial planning and analysis, treasury, tax and investor relations. Prior to that, Mr. Louie, who is a CPA, was with the Big 4 accounting firm of KPMG.
Mr. Louie is a graduate of the University of California, Los Angeles, with a degree in economics. He received his MBA in finance from the University of Southern California.
