Senior Vice President / Division Manager, Southern California Division
Adam Christofferson is the senior vice president and division manager for the Southern California division. He began his career with Marcus & Millichap in 1997 as sales assistant. Mr. Christofferson became a sales agent focusing on the Southern California retail market in 1998, and was a top retail agent in the Encino office just two years later. He was appointed sales manager in the Encino office in 2001, where he led the office to a record-breaking year.
In 2002, Mr. Christofferson relocated from Southern California and was named regional manager of the Denver and Salt Lake City offices where he spearheaded a major expansion. Under his watch, the Denver office had five consecutive record-breaking years and he was named first vice president in 2007.
In 2010, Mr. Christofferson was named the regional manager of the Encino office. With him at the helm, Encino became Marcus & Millichap's top grossing revenue office, and in 2012 Mr. Christofferson earned the much-coveted designation of regional manager of the year. Previously, he served as Western U.S. director of special asset services. In 2013, Mr. Christofferson was honored by Real Estate Forum magazine as one of the “45 under 40” most influential commercial real estate leaders in the nation. In 2014, he spearheaded the opening of the firm's offices in Fresno, Bakersfield and Ventura.
Mr. Christofferson is a graduate of Brigham Young University.
