Since his tenure with Marcus & Millichap, Tony has been directly responsible for the closing of over $300 million in transaction volume.
Tony and his team are focused on facilitating the sale of senior housing facilities in a national marketplace with a particular focus in the Pacific Northwest and Mountain states.
Tony's professional career prior to brokerage had been focused entirely in the healthcare and senior housing industry. He spent time working for a fiscal intermediary performing audits in hospital and nursing facility settings. He also worked as a Medicare and Medicaid cost report consultant preparing cost reports for hospitals and nursing facilities. Immediately prior to joining Marcus & Millichap, Tony worked as a consultant for a Big 4 accounting and consulting firm where he worked exclusively with nursing home, hospital and health insurer clients. He has a deep understanding of Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement strategies, membership/enrollment/billing, streamlining operations, strategy and management, and technology implementation within the healthcare and senior housing industry.
Tony began his career with Marcus & Millichap in 2005. Tony earned the firm's pacesetter award in his first year and was a top agent in the Portland office every year he was in production. Tony was quickly promoted to Associate and took on additional responsibilities of mentoring junior agents. In 2007 Tony took on the role of Regional Manager of the Portland office. In that capacity Tony was responsible for executing on the Firm's strategic vision, providing leadership and the day to day operations for the Firm in Oregon and SW Washington.
Tony attended the University of Montana-Missoula and has a bachelor's degree in accounting. He and his team are members of the Oregon Healthcare Association and the Washington Healthcare Association.
