Tom Mann


Tom Mann is a retail specialist in the firm's Tulsa office, with experience in land, office and other types of real estate. Tom has more than 30 years experience in the real estate industry as a developer with Gerald Hines Interests and on his own, as well as 10 years in the practice of law involving real estate, banking, and other commercial areas.  He has closed over 50 investment real estate transactions as a principal valued over $700 million during his career as a developer, and closed hundreds of other real estate transactions for clients during his career in law. Tom has achieved numerous awards and distinctions, including law review, partner in a major law firm, charitable and civic chairmanships, and speaker in law and real estate forums .

Tom is a member of the Texas Bar Association, the American Bar Association, International Council of Shopping Centers,and has been a member of the Urban Land Institute . He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts and a Juris Doctor (law degree) from Southern Methodist University, Dallas, Texas and also holds a real estate license in Oklahoma .

Tom has accumulated expertise as a principal, attorney and broker in land planning, land acquisition, development, financing, leasing and sale of investment real estate over a 40 year period. Tom's development and real estate investment work has taken place in eighteen states from coast to coast, including the construction, financing and sale of over seven million square feet of commercial space, a large portion of which was retail. One million square feet of that space was in Tulsa and Oklahoma City. Tom brings his experience and expertise to the international platform of Marcus & Millichap to bring expert access to clients who are interested in buying or selling real estate.
