Tim Kinney

Overview

Tim Kinney joined the Atlanta office of Marcus & Millichap Capital Corporation (MMCC) in August 2006. As a vice president capital markets with MMCC, Mr. Kinney is responsible for securing commercial debt and equity financing for an array of property types including multifamily, office and industrial, retail, seniors housing and hospitality. He is well connected with national, regional and local funding sources including, but not limited to, agency lenders (e.g. Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac), commercial banks, CMBS lenders, life insurance companies, private and public funds and bridge lenders.

Mr. Kinney has more than 15 years of commercial real estate finance experience. He specializes in structuring finance for single tenant net leased, retail, multifamily, office and industrial, self-storage and other special purpose properties. Prior to joining MMCC, Mr. Kinney served in both institutional equity and fixed-income sales at Morgan Stanley Smith Barney and Montgomery Securities. He was also a vice president at BMC Capital.

Mr. Kinney is a graduate of Michigan State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in communications.
