Shane Young


Shane joined Marcus & Millichap as a Long Beach multifamily specialist in 2014 after graduating from California State University, Long Beach with a degree in business marketing. As a lifelong resident of Long Beach, Shane offers unique insight and in-depth knowledge of the local market. His dedication to providing his clients with the best advisory, research and underwriting services available helped him to earn the Long Beach office’s 2015 Rookie of the Year Award and 2016 Rising Star Award.
Shane is a member of Bogie Investment Group, a team within Marcus & Millichap’s Long Beach office that specializes in multifamily investment properties throughout the Long Beach, South Bay, Los Angeles and surrounding areas. As part of the BIG team, which comprises nine Marcus & Millichap agents, a financial analyst, a marketing coordinator and a transaction coordinator, Shane proudly provides his clients with personalized service and the expertise of an entire team of professionals dedicated to ensuring successful and smooth transactions.

Steve “Bogie” Bogoyevac
Senior Vice President Investments | Multifamily Specialist
Bogie is an apartment and 1031 specialist of the Long Beach, South Bay, Los Angeles, and surrounding areas who has brokered over $440MM of investment real estate across 329 transactions and been awarded Long Beach Agent of the Year for 2008, 2009, 2012, 2014, 2015 and 2016. Bogie has focused the majority of his 14-year career with Marcus & Millichap on multifamily properties and also offers experience with a range of net-leased, retail, office, industrial, and other properties.

Bogie’s goal is to approach each transaction as though the client’s resources are his own, always working to protect and generate wealth using in-depth and accurate research alongside the best advisory, financing, and transaction services available. He credits this approach as part of his success and maintains that it is the key to the most enjoyable and important aspect of this business: the personal relationships he builds with his clients.

Michael Kenworthy
Financial Analyst | Research Analyst
Mike joined Marcus & Millichap in July 2005.  Originally from the Los Angeles area, he received his B.S. degree from California State University, Long Beach in finance with an emphasis on real estate and law. Mike has underwritten hundreds of properties from $1MM to upwards of $50MM and has represented buyers and sellers of investment properties in the Los Angeles and South Bay areas. He has a strong grasp of the financial workings of apartment complexes and commercial lending and brings considerable value to Bogie Investment Group.

Deborah Zito
Transaction Coordinator
Deborah helps facilitate all of team Bogie’s sales transactions, property management, escrow management, and data management. She also functions as the direct business liaison between team members and clients. Deborah served as senior vice president and member of the Board of Directors of a web-based mortgage company and carries a California Real Estate Broker’s license. Additionally, she has chaired multiple events for The American Cancer Society and received awards for her expertise in income development.
Therese Weed
Marketing Coordinator
Therese joined Marcus & Millichap in July 2014 and Bogie Investment Group later in April 2016. She is responsible for coordinating the marketing of all of our team’s transactions. This includes preparing marketing proposals and packages, email campaigns, mailing campaigns and more. Her skills allow us to create highly customized products for every property we market.

David O'Keefe
Senior Associate | Multifamily Specialist | Mid Cities
As a senior associate, David provides clients with in-depth knowledge of and experience with research, underwriting, marketing, negotiations and transaction coordination. This experience, along with extensive knowledge of his market area, helped David to sell a Bellflower property at the highest price per unit in the city’s history. Additionally, his background as an economics major at the University of Southern California helps David to advise his clients on market trends.

David was a member of USC’s water polo team and has valued maintaining an active lifestyle; in his free time, David enjoys spending time with his kids, coaching, surfing, skiing and playing golf. 
Dan Lewin
Associate | Student Housing Specialist
Dan graduated from the University of Southern California with a B.S. degree, which included a real estate concentration from USC’s Marshall School of Business, and subsequently joined Marcus & Millichap in May 2014 as a student housing specialist. As a Trojan himself, Dan provides valuable insight into the USC student housing market and local developments. Additionally, he offers extensive experience in numerous aspects of the multifamily housing sector, having worked for several years as an analyst and acquisition specialist for a Gardena-based real estate investment firm.

Alexandro Colombo
Associate | Multifamily Specialist | Mid Cities & South Los Angeles
After leaving Buenos Aires, Argentina to attend college in the United States, Alex graduated summa cum laude from California State University, Northridge with a B.S. in finance and a B.S. in business administration with a focus on real estate. Alex’s extensive studies and experience with multifamily acquisition sourcing, portfolio and property analysis, market research, capital market solutions, and property disposition have made him an asset to the firm. Additionally, his language skills as a native Spanish speaker have proven to be invaluable to his Spanish-speaking clients throughout his market area.

Nico Rosmarin

Nico joined Marcus & Millichap and Bogie Investment Group after graduating from University of California, Santa Barbara with an economics degree in 2016. His education background and extensive studies of macroeconomics allow Nico to guide his clients through market trends. Nico proudly provides an advisory approach to clients' real estate investments that focuses on long-term success.
