Michael J. Hansen

Michael Hansen leads Healthcare and MOB advisory and disposition services for Marcus & Millichap out of Dallas. He has developed proprietary pricing and valuation models that give his clients precise insights about their current holdings and potential portfolio additions. While his focus has shifted to Dallas-Fort Worth, he has completed transactions all over the country and has put tens of millions of net dollars into his clients’ pockets.

Michael graduated with a Bachelor of Science in economics from Brigham Young University in just over two years. His research and study focused on healthcare markets and behavioral economics—giving him a rigorous understanding of how policy changes and technological advances shift markets and, more importantly, how people will respond to those market shifts. That education continues to serve him to this day as he provides market-leading research to concerned investors on a regular basis.

Michael and his wife reside in Dallas with their three young children. The Hansen family enjoys playing soccer together, going on walks, and watching the same Disney movies over and over again. Michael also serves as the current Vice President of United Haitian Orthopedic Philanthropists—a non-profit organization that supplies Haitian doctors with surgical equipment and training.
