Michael J. Early is a vice president of investments with Marcus & Millichap, specializing in the representation of investment properties throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. Michael has experience handling the disposition of shopping centers, multi-family communities, office buildings, single-tenant net-leased, mixed-use buildings, self-storage facilities, as well as assets occupied by the federal government.
Prior to Marcus & Millichap's expansion into Virginia in 2006, Michael was the top volume producer in 2002 and 2nd ranked gross income producer in 2004 at Marcus & Millichap's office in Washington, D.C. Michael Early was the top retail agent at the Washington, D.C. office from 2002 – 2005. During his brokerage career, he has mentored multiple associates that have gone on to become top producers. Costar® named Michael a “Power Broker” in years 2008, 2009, 2011, 2013 and he is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers. Michael has completed the disposition of over 100 investment assets, across thirteen States and the District of Columbia during his tenure with Marcus & Millichap.
In 1996, Early received a Bachelor of Arts & Science degree in Speech Communication from the College of Professional Studies and Fine Arts, at San Diego State University. Michael was a Collegiate Forensics (Debate) Academic and was certified in Parliamentary Procedure at the university level. Michael also continued his real estate education over the years through the Appraisal Institute in Chicago, IL.
